The story behind this is that I have wanted to do something to help #starlightbarking raise money for the shelter in Greece (we got our dog George through the starlight barking charity). When Wendy asked if I would donate a pet portrait commission to their charity auction I was really happy to help. There is a disaster that’s underneath this painting, but which actually serves to give texture (which I happen to like). Finally the inspiration came, the old painting was white washed and this new one evolved.
